OUR 2007/2008 SEASON

DEATH AND DECEIT ON THE NILE

The mystery takes place on a cruise ship while sailing on the Nile.  An ancient Egyptian pharaoh's secret tomb and treasure has been discovered!  A cast of bizarre international characters assembles to view it:  a scheming professor, a voluptuous princess, a daffy housekeeper, a slick lounge lizard, an astute writer and a dealer in exotic antiques.  Then...gunshots ring out!  One of the all-time best interactive murder mysteries.  Each guest will receive a "Murder A La Carte dossier," which includes the limerick clues - scrambled, so you, our guests, must unscramble them to solve the mystery.  A wonderfully grand evening of mystery, comedy, and intrigue.

September 21, 2007 - November 10, 2007

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Based on the story by Charles Dickens.  There are many adaptations of A Christmas Carol, but only one Broadway version.  Charles Dickens' classic gets the full Broadway treatment in this adaptation by Alan Menken, Lynn Ahreas, and Mike Okrent.  At the center of the play is Ebenezer Scrooge himself.  Taken from the pages of Dickens' immortal tales and delivered full-blown at the Washington County Playhouse.  A wonderful tale for the entire family.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

A crowd-pleasing, funny, and outstanding musical.  A down-trodden skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he develops an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood.  Soon, "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed plant.  A charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, musical that is sure to entertain.

The action picks up right where it left off, with the Child Welfare Commissioner, Harriet Doyle, advising Daddy Warbucks "that he must marry in sixty days so the newly adopted Annie will have a proper mother". In the end, Daddy Warbucks whirlwind search uncovers a "sinister" Doyle plot...just in time. New musical numbers are all outstanding, telling a wonderful story.
